Yesterday, students all over Kenya converged at Uhuru Park Freedom Corner, Nairobi before proceeding with their demonstration in the CBD as a sign of solidarity with Ugandans after Kyadondo member of parliament was arrested on 13th August alongside other MPs. They demanded  for the unconditional release of Robert Kyagulanyi  Ssentamu popularly known as Bobi Wine.

Students activism has been in decline in the recent past, a contrasting characteristic with students in the 90s.
