Learning is seen by many as a task. It is perceived as a burden. In most cases, it has to be formal to be recognized. Once a degree or two is attained then it ceases. The question is, has learning got a climax? So long as we have life, learning never ceases.

Henry Ford said, “Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.” We hardly read once life forces start hitting us at adulthood.

We should study to hold ourselves approved. We should not only know but know with understanding. Our education is mostly focused on cramming facts. We do that immediately to be misinterpreted, distorted or forgotten. We are not bent on discovering and understanding what we learn.
The mind needs to be actively creative in order to connect the dots and develop pathways.

We should never think the mind knows it all. We won’t learn anything if we think we know better. For a better future, we need to learn without limits. Our learning paths should be self-directed. Our daily path should be a learning process. Eventually, we become confident and self-awareness increases.

“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” Mahatma Gandhi.

Life has its complications. Rough enough to break a person down. Our only hope is a continual learning process. Let’s learn to live and live to learn.
