Migos vault 24-1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated Feb. 10) to become the top musical act in the U.S. for a second total week, thanks to the arrival of their third studio album, Culture II. The trio becomes the first rap duo or group to spend more than a single week at No. 1 on the chart.

The Artist 100, which launched in July 2014, measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.

The only other hip-hop group to reach No. 1 on the Artist 100 was A Tribe Called Quest, on the Dec. 3, 2016-dated tally.

Culture II debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts with 199,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music, earning the group its second No. 1 on both rankings.

Streaming contributes the majority of Migos’ Artist 100 points (53 percent), followed by album sales (28 percent).

Migos first led the Artist 100 dated Feb. 18, 2017, when prior album Culture likewise entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1.

Migos concurrently chart 14 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, tying The Beatles for the most simultaneous entries among groups in the chart’s 59-year history. Of their 14 titles, “MotorSport,” with Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, places highest, at No. 8.

Rounding out the Artist 100’s top five, Ed Sheeranholds at No. 2; Bruno Mars jumps 8-3, aided by Grammy Awards-related gains; Drake dips 3-4; and Chris Stapleton leaps 18-5, also sparked by Grammy gold.
