The much awaited official opening of the University of Nairobi Tower has been postponed. The opening was scheduled for March 29, 2017, but has been postponed to an unknown date.
In an email from the University’s Director of Corporate Affair, John Orindi wrote that the reason for the postponement was because the Chief Guest would not make it because of other pressing matters.
The students and staff will have to be patient as they await the official communication of the opening date. Sources say the building is however currently accessible and some departments are using the lecture theatres.
