For folks with rides be informed, On Wednesday, April 25, 2018, due to a massive security operation, the Hyslop parking area and the University Way slip road will be affected. This scenario will slow down the accessibility of 8.4.4 parking. The tunnel walk way across Uhuru Highway will also be closed for pedestrians in order to allow for the smooth execution of the operation.
The Security & Safety Services Director, Wilfred Wahome is urging all staff and students to park at 8.4.4 parking area which will only be accessed through Uhuru Highway.
“You are further required to only use the car with a valid University sticker and occupants to have the staff or student IDs. We are also advised to use other pedestrian routes other than the tunnel,” he added.
