Moi University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Isaac. S. Kosgey has commissioned a water pump generator in a bid to solve the perennial water shortage within the University. The pump, with a capacity to pump 200 Litres per second, was sourced from Jos. Hansen & Soehne (East Africa Limited) LTD at a tune of Ksh. 3.8 million.
The Estate Manager Mr. Korir lauded the procurement terming it as a “landmark achievement “and was optimistic of a reliable supply of water within the University thanks to the generator.
Prof. Kosgey appreciated the procurement team led by the Ag D.V.C (A, P&D) Prof. Nathan Ogechi for their concerted effort in ensuring the procurement of the generator was a success.
