“I have withdrawn my apology and remain unapologetic since I did nothing wrong, I only wanted to know my enemies and now I know them. I served for four terms as a SONU chairman and delivered 101% of my promises as a leader.” Babu Owino.
Embakasi East MP Babu Owino withdrew the very apology he made on 3rd May 2019 in the New Comrade’s Forum page which constitutes students from all over the country. The apology, which took many by surprise, went “If at all I wronged any comrade kindly forgive me.I did not know what I was doing.” Most of the comrades didn’t seem to believe the apology, with a few applauding the leader for being a good leader and apologising to his followers, terming it as a rare character. Well, joke’s on them!
The comrades have been infuriated with the then SONU chairperson lately, with different allegations coming out all claiming the influential leader caused them suffering during his reign. While others say the current Member of Parliament betrayed the comrades betrayed them by ‘killing’ SONU to concentrate on national politics. However, funny how these are the same comrades that kept saying Babu has overstayed at the University of Nairobi. Surely, human beings can never be satisfied with anything.
The apology withdrawal makes me wonder, is former SONU chairperson Paul Ongili playing mind games with the comrades? Is this a mere publicity stunt to be relevant or just common drama that comes with being Babu. You are the comrades, let us know what you think!
