Launch of Mulla, a financial literacy segment on the Wednesday Campus Radio Breakfast.

In partnership with finance coach Susan Nyakiamo, online radio station Campus Radio Kenya will be running a financial literacy segment called Mulla on Wednesday mornings during the Campus Radio Breakfast show hosted by Disi Mugoa. The segment will run every Wednesday morning from 6.00 AM to 7.30 AM starting June 12, 2019.

Today, millennials in Kenya are debt-ridden as a result of random loan borrowing from money lending apps. Young people agree that the impressionable nature of millennials push them to borrow money that they do not need, and spend it on mostly liabilities in their quest for ‘acceptance’ in society. Not forgetting the gambling and betting craze among youth males and females alike. The youth spend millions daily and most of the youth in our country lack vital financial management skills.

Mulla will focus on educating you on matters of finances. This includes;

  • Your relationship with money – Your money mindset and how to adjust it
  • How to make money (Income); Working.
  • How to burn through money
  • How to spend money
  • How to grow money

On the show, Miss Disi will interview Miss Nyakiamo on the topics above and many more, giving insights to individual topics and answering questions from the listeners.
